Join Transcom as a Junior Automation Engineer (RPA)!

Be part of a collaborative team helping to shape the future of automation across our global business. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced Automation Engineers to develop, test and maintain RPA solutions while building your technical skills across cloud technologies, AI and intelligent automation. If you're eager to learn and excited by emerging technologies, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain RPA workflows using UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate with support from experienced team members

  • Assist with process mapping, documentation and identifying opportunities for automation

  • Build and maintain supporting scripts and automation components using C#, Python or TypeScript

  • Monitor automation performance, investigate issues and support first-line troubleshooting

  • Participate in testing, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Support our migration from on-premise infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Gain hands-on experience with agentic AI and Large Language Model (LLM) automation projects

  • Work closely with senior engineers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality automation solutions

  • Produce clear technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance

To be successful in this role, the following is needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience

  • Up to two years' experience in RPA, software development or automation, including internships, academic projects or entry-level roles

  • Familiarity with UiPath and/or Microsoft Power Automate through work, study or certification

  • Basic programming knowledge in at least one of the following: C#, Python or TypeScript

  • Understanding of web technologies and APIs is an advantage

  • Experience using Git or similar version control tools

  • Curiosity about cloud technologies and AI-driven automation

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
