Join our Transcom Family as a Research Analyst!

The Market Research Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data about market conditions, customer preferences, and competition. The role involves conducting research, creating reports, and providing actionable insights to support business strategies and decision-making processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

● Market Analysis: Conduct detailed market research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. 

● Data Collection: Gather data from various sources, including surveys, focus groups, industry reports, public information, and proprietary databases. 

● Data Interpretation: Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform business decisions. 

● Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports, charts, and graphs to communicate findings to stakeholders. 

● Survey Design: Develop and administer surveys and questionnaires to collect primary data. 

● Forecasting: Use statistical methods to forecast future market trends and consumer behavior. 

● Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitors' activities, market share, and product offerings. 

● Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, sales, and other departments to provide data-driven insights. 

● Tools and Software: Utilize various research tools and software to collect and analyze data (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Tableau, Google Analytics). 

● Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements. 


What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role you must…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

  • 2-5 years of experience in market research or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Proficiency in statistical and data analysis software

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and concise manner

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and advanced Excel skills.

  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
