Join us as a Global Database Administrator!

This position is part of the team responsible for globally supporting the company’s infrastructure. The role is to support and maintain existing platforms through proactive and reactive maintenance, investigation into solution improvements, and new projects and  will include tasks such as:

• Monitoring database events and proactively optimise system performance 
• Optimising the operational environment for client success
• Maintaining database configurations in compliance with established best practices 
• Working in conjunction with other IT, application development, and business groups to understand functionality, scalability, performance, security, and integration requirements from the database perspective 
• Responsibility for investigating potential problems and issues raised 
• Overseeing data fixes for business issues or to address application issues 
• Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the database architecture

What we are looking for:

• Minimum studies: Bachelor's degree or any relevant technical degree
• Minimum of 1 years experience managing SQL Server databases/as a Database Admin. 
• Knowledge of database structure languages
• Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models 
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and willing to learn
• Strong communication skills
• Customer first attitude
• Flexible attitude to learning new skills
• Team player
• Results and quality focused
• BPO experience a bonus
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Fluency in written and spoken English
